Todd always knew he was meant to be a performer. “In grade school, I played Banquo in my 4th grade production of ‘Macbeth’. I got to be stabbed, have a gory death scene, put on tons of fake blood and climb on the banquet table for my ghost scene. The audience gave us a standing ovation. From that moment, I knew what I would be doing with the rest of my life.”
Through the years, Todd has been drawn to character roles. From the Governor in “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” to the iconic Mad Tom of Bedlam, Todd’s addiction to laughter has been a driving force. Later, his introduction to interactive and improvisational theatre became an all consuming passion.
Opportunities as a writer and director arrived, and Todd has enjoyed the creative collaboration working on a broad spectrum of productions from solo cabarets, to musicals to theme park cabarets.
In recent years, Todd’s solo performances as Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Dickens have received critical and audience acclaim, selling out venues throughout North America.
